Amit Waghchaure is a Production Designer and Art Director with a strong foundation in Film and Fine Art. Based in Mumbai-Pune, he brings boundless creativity to the silver screen, crafting immersive worlds that elevate storytelling.
He has collaborated with leading production houses, including Yash Raj Films, Prakash Jha Productions, Friday Filmworks, and Vyjayanthi Films. His outstanding production design work has earned prestigious nominations at the Filmfare Awards, Zee Chitra Gaurav, and Pravah Picture Puraskar.
Amit’s career took off with his first independent feature, the Telugu film Yevade Subramanyam. He also directed the award-winning short film Gaabha and spent over six years in theater. With a background in painting, he seamlessly blends artistry and meticulous attention to detail, transforming spaces into captivating cinematic landscapes.
Currently, Amit is working on several web series and a feature film, continuing to push the boundaries of cinematic aesthetics. His unique vision and expertise make him a force to watch in the world of production design.
